Careers in Grain is giving eight university students the opportunity to attend Southern Dirt TECHSPO on the 6th-8th of August. This three day all expenses paid experience will provide invaluable information and insight into the roles of technology in agriculture allowing students to gain a unique experience and opportunity otherwise out of reach.

TECHSPO will be bringing technology developers, farmers, advisors, expert researchers and officials together for two jam-packed days of advanced agriculture technology, information sharing and collaboration.

Students will be given the opportunity to visit a farm to see how technology has transformed the industry, attend a technology conference showcasing the latest tech in agriculture and be given the opportunity to learn experientially through touching, feeling and seeing the latest technology whilst being given the opportunity to network with key members of industry.

This all expense paid trip will begin on the 6th of August with a visit to a farm (details to come), followed by a technology conference on the 7th and will conclude with practical demonstrations of the latest technology in agriculture on the 8th. 

Who can apply?: 

Second or Third year Students studying Agribusiness Engineering Mechatronics  IT or related discliplines with an interest in agtech.
