A finance analyst helps to shape a company’s decisions by collecting and analysing operational data against results, and recommending a course of action. Their role is to help management identify the company’s financial status by comparing and analysing results against forecasts, before then guiding company decisions and improving its results by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
